Hi, my current name is Buddy. I used to be Miguel, yuck ! I was adopted from Broward County in 2015. I believe my original owners passed away from old age. I miss them but they placed me in the shelter. Then I saw two ladies check me out (boy, I had all the females in the shelter checking me out, even the human ones). I got adopted and went to a great home in Pembroke Pines, FL. Then we moved to Plantation, FL. I'm a dog so I dont why we moved. Whatever the case, here I was in Plantation with two shih-tzus. I was barking at everything and had anxiety. I wasnt abused. I was neglected. My fur was matted and I was so itchy !!! My tags are expired for a year. What owner would do that? Finally, one of the owners gave me to Jessica, my new, or hope to be owner. Boy, she shaved me down, tried to cut my nails cause no one cut my nails for what felt like 3 years. Jessica has a fenced in yard and I sleep on the bed, but she has to pick me up because I can't jump that high. She walks me religiously times a day or more. I get ALL the belly rubs I want. I also got a flea bath and a doggy kiss. I feel so much better, and I'm not sure the last time I barked. She thinks I'm 10 years old. I feel 1 years old. Jessica is trying to register me under her name but there seems to be some forks in the road. If I could talk, I'd say please help me get registered under Jessica. I want to make this relationship official !!!
