We're at 40th and Drew S and walk with grandkids often. CROSSING France with or without grandkids at 39th-42nd was unsafe UNTIL this temporary light went up forc the construction season. It has made a huge improvement in both traffic speed and pacing.

I have lived here for 18 years and have witnessed dozens of accidents. The traffic on France Ave is so heavy that people and cars crossing from 39 are literally risking their lives when crossing or taking a turn. If not a stoplight then at least a round about.

Safety should be the upmost importance! My friends dad got killed last Saturday by a drunk driver and he left the scene. Left him to die! No more deaths with traffic also

Stoplight has exponentially calmed speeding. Pedestrians are no longer running to cross France st this intersection. Zero car accidents since light has been up.

It's easier and safer to back out of the driveway on France.
