The town finally agreed to conduct the study for 35 Leroy Ave. It has been a long and draining road to get this far but seeing our demand met proves that persistence pays off. Now we watch closely to ensure they follow through with the actual planning.

The feedback I keep hearing from you all confirms that the old library site is currently a wasted opportunity for our town. I have been spending my evenings trying to get someone in the planning office to actually look at these proposals. It is exhausting work to keep pushing against this wall of silence but I am not walking away from this.

Darien needs condos for down-sizers bad. My parents want to stay here but can't find anything that isnt a massive house.
its just sitting there empty. what a waste of prime space when seniors have nowhere to go in town.
DARIEN NEEDS THIS. GET IT DONE.
that spot is perfect for a senior center. parking is easy and its right near the center of town.
finally someone is bringing this up. that empty lot is an eyesore and we are paying taxes for it to just sit there.

need to get moving on this. we keep talking about it but nothing happens. stop letting it rot.
