Are you kidding me!! More Bike Lanes Bike lanes cause serious injurieS. Go Look at the situation on 29th Avenue. Unsafe to park drive, it looks as if cars are parked in the middle of the street. At this point just make cars illegal. The millennials will get what they want!! Property owners and business will get destroyed. Once income is down to the City then what will happen to services? But hey who cares right??? Cars are gone

These bike lanes are a disgrace to the community. Bikers are illegally abusing our roads and ride recklessly breaking every law. Put a stop to this NOW.

No bike lanes on 31 Street!

This proposed bike lane is ridiculous and a direct attack on all the local businesses along 31st Street! First of all, 31st Street, is very congested already. This bike lane will only make things worse! My family has owned and operated our food truck on the corner of 31st street and 31st avenue, for over 40 years and this bike lane will cut right through us and devastate our business and livelihood! This bike lane will displace us, costing us valuable time and money, and ultimately put us out of business. Not to mention the 30+ families who will be affected because of the amazing people which we employee alone, losing their job! And this can be said of all the businesses along 31st street which this bike lane will negatively affect! This bike lane will also be a great risk to the cyclists which it means to protect. 31st street is full of businesses which need access to their driveways for loading and unloading etc. Cyclists will be forced to go around, into traffic, to avoid trucks and other vehicles trying to do their job. This puts them directly into harms way and raises drastically the possibility for injuries and casualties! This is just absurd and I urge and implore you to not let this bike lane cut across 31st street and consequently our lives! these bike lanes are hardly used. if it is used, it’s used illegally by delivery motor bicycles.

35-03 29th st

Where are trucks supposed to park while making deliveries? They will park in the middle of the street and block a whole lane of traffic causing more congestion than there is now. At least now deliveries can be made as the trucks dig in close to parked cars and that allows the two lanes to flow normally. Too many businesses on 31 Street will be affected negatively.

The bike lanes and bikers are out of control. Bike riders are extremely reckless and cause accidents. Bikers interfere with cars and break every law that a car would get stopped for. Following this, the city caters to them. Drivers are attacked by the city for bikers breaking the laws with all these nonsense speed cameras. The city bike stands are a disgrace to residents causing tons and tons of lost parking spots. The bikers cheer when drivers have issues, what does that show about their attitude?

NYC politicians are too distanced from the populace and don’t work on the real issues

31 st doesn’t need a bike lane there plenty of traffic on 31st and lack of parking bike lanes will make it more difficult for businesses to operate
