We, the undersigned, agree that OC Transpo is not acknowledging their employee frustration.

We stood behind the company throughout the pandemic, being front line workers, putting our own families at risk.

We are coming together to request an immediate halt to this new re-booking schedule.

OC Transpo is using 30 minute break to disrupt our Members quality of life.
This is not fair or right; OC Transpo needs to step up and treat Employees with respect.

This IPG aims to interpret the scope of section 169.1 under Division I of Part III of the Canada Labour Code and to clarify the associated expression "break of at least 30 minutes during every period of 5 consecutive hours of work".
This amendment took effect for Transit employees on February 01, 2022.

Our ATU 279 Union negotiated paid breaks on behalf of Union members.

This petition is for better quality of work and work-life balance.

LISTEN TO YOUR EMPLOYEES! They put in the work during the worst parts of the pandemic and this is how they get treated?? Fix it.

Worked here long enough to see the bs schedules they pull. This new re-booking is clearly just to screw over the drivers on their downtime.

Ridiculous. OC Transpo needs to respect the contract and the people actually driving the buses.

The drivers are already exhausted. Changing the schedule like this makes the job impossible and nobody up top seems to care.

Stop messing with the breaks! These people work hard and deserve to eat lunch without management ruining everything.

Enough is enough. Give them back their breaks.
