2nd Petition for investigation of Officer Marc Lofton, Statham Police Department

THIS GUY NEEDS TO BE OFF THE BEAT. HAS HIS OWN AGEND AS TO WHO TO NAIL, THIS GUY NEEDS TO PAY FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE. STRIPPED OF ANY POWER OR GUN FOREVER.

Can't have corrupt officers tanishing the reputations of good officers.

This is a a poor excuse for a police officer. He gets off on arresting inocent people . this poor excuse for a officer of the law is on his high horse and thinks he can get away with this abuse. I certainly dont know why he has not been indited for these false arrest and statements?!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was pulled over on my lunch break by this officer. He made me pull down my eyelids and look up at the sky....said I appeared intoxicated. I don't drink, do drugs, or take any meds....PLUS it was around 10 AM!!

Clearly this cop had his mind made up before he ever "administered" any test

I am an advanced practice nurse with a specialty in Neuroscience, and I can say with confidence that this officer is not only improperly administering a field sobriety test, he is also causing the very issues he "discovers". A person can not physically hold their head still and follow a pen tip with only their eyes when the tip is constantly taken out of the field of sight. In addition, a person can not be expected to physically hold that position motionless for more than two minutes as this officer has been seen doing multiple times on video. In addition to being a very poor law enforcement officer and liability to his department and community, he is also very much in danger of being charged with practicing medicine without a license. Take this rogue officer off the streets before it is far too late.

This officer needs to be arrested for falsifying legal documents

This cop is a menace to society , some one should have already taken him out into the woods and and givin him a Comes to Jesus talk, get him off the force and in jail

False arrest. The officer is unfit to hold a badge.

This crimminal needs to be charged and locked up.

I cannot believe he tased her husband. He should be charged with assault and/or use of excessive force. Needless to say, this is why cops are getting such a bad rap these days. Total abuse of his authority.

Wtf the field sobriety test is not very accurate on older people I understand is another money grab by the thugs

We should not be paying his salary if this is how he acts while on duty. He will get himself and other officers hurt treating people the way he does.

I watched the video. At no time did this girl appear inebriated.

This is the kind of behavior by a few LEO's that give them a bad name. Abuse of power such as this needs to be punished so as to dissuade others. Conduct an objective investigation, and if found guilty, punish to the fullest extent of the law.
