2nd Petition for investigation of Officer Marc Lofton, Statham Police Department

To many videos on this officer showing the evidence of the reasons for this petition. He makes up a reason to arrest for dui. This can ruin an innocent persons livelihood, simply because he wishes to make a quota or impress his superiors for advancement. Time to hit the road.

As a person with HIV and depression who takes multiple medications these allegations against Marc Lofton hit really close to home. In the dashcam videos you can tell he is purposely setting innocent people up so that they have to pay bond and possibly pay a lot for legal fees in order to prove their innocence. I would die in jail from sickness without my medications, if an inmate didn't get me first for being gay. Lofton needs to be taken off the force and never allowed to be an officer with any other department ever.

This officer is giving Statham a reputation that will be very hard to recover from. I will never go through this town, and will give it a wide berth, no matter how far out of my way I have to go.

Officer Marc Lofton needs to not only be fired, but he needs to be indicted!

This guy will cost County tax payers a lot of money. Makes me really feel for his victims. He could arrest the really bad guy here maybe he could find a mirror.

He makes all officer's look bag

Please eliminate all criminal leo's from the payroll.

This jerk needs to be fired and given some hard time behind bars for the trouble he's caused too many innocent people. This person should NEVER be in a position of authority..

You wonder why people are sick of cops. Watch the videos if this particular cop. Then read his reports. Tell me how many times you catch him in a lie!

I've been in law enforcement for over 20 years and a detective for over half of those. This idiot is going to cost your city a pretty penny very soon. His FTO should be seriously investigated! This guy has a very short fuse.

Someone needs more training or fired. I strongly suggest the latter.

This officer, has gone beyond the point of resignation or termination. He has blatantly turned his public service into his self-service. Wrongfully destroying the lives of citizens for what can only be assumed to be his own personal gain. He has absolutely earned himself a long term stay in a prison. Absurd the lives this man has molested.

This man is a criminal and needs to see the inside of a jail cell, just like his victims

This officer has obviously crossed the line way too many times.

Let's get this abuser in jail where he belongs.
