2nd Petition for investigation of Officer Marc Lofton, Statham Police Department

Time to start holding public servants accountable for their misdeeds. No one from the newest rookie cop to the potus should be immune from prosecution

Need to keep power mad people like this out of any authority over others.

Should never work in law inforsment ever again

Abuse of power!!!

This so-called "Police Officer", who took the same Oath I did, has violated the public trust and the Honor and Respect of courageous Men and Women who faithfully, and honorably, execute their sworn duties every day. I take personal offense when I see an "Officer" besmirch their badge, and abuse the power that was given to them by the very people he is failing to protect. Once his conduct was reported up the 'Chain-of -Command', his superior chose to pass him on to another agency. Had I been his Commander, I would have terminated him immediately (following an IA Investigation), and placed a letter outlining his unprofessional behavior and actions in his 201 file; to ensure he never wears a badge again! Until bad Officers are held accountable, ALL officers, Civilian and Military, around the world will continue to be untrusted and despised!

This authority addict must be stopped. He is insane and nobody should have to put up with his abusive behavior.

27 years in law enforcement and this would naver have gone down this way if I had stopped this young man. He deserves to be jobless.

There is one in every town. I can only hope that the citizens of this town will get Justice .

Get cops like this in jail.

I would have never signed this off word of mouth but living in lumpkin county - I am disgusted that this is called a sheriffs deputy- hopefully someone will do something about all the wrongs

It's sad to think that this idiot was out there supposedly protecting our children. Jerks like this fool is why real officers get a bad rap. He should loose his drivers licenseand be locked for 3 to 5. He's a real asswhole.

This dude had no business serving the public that he was hired to protect and serve. His mission seemed to be to terrorize anyone that was unfortunate enough to cross his path. This guy’s entire career should be investigated, to include the cases where an arrest was made. If appropriate, he should be brought up on charges and put in jail for his crimes. This will clearly send a message to those who wear a badge and carry guns. In fairness to the law enforcement community, most officers take pride in properly and fairly serving their communities. Much respect to these officers, let’s thank them for their service.

After watching the video I was disgusted by the officers actions!! Clearly the kid was innocent and his story never changed from rolling out of bed drinking coffee throwing water on his hair brushing his teeth throwing some clothes on and heading for work !! It’s just disgusting how some cops don’t approach a situation with manner and honesty to solve an issue instead of wrong doing , hate and just pure EVIL !!

This officer is way out of line. He violated citizens rights, he failed to rember a person is innocent till proven guilty in an court of law. He use his badge his power to scare manipulate people. He had no real probable cause showed no radar of speeding. DUI test is done in most station for accuracy. He needs firing investigations by an Grand Jury. His Department that covered for him needs to be held responsible as well. I respect only my true my brothers and sisters in blue who truly are up holding the Law and Truly Serve and Protect. This man is a disgrace to the uniform he needs to held accountable for his abuse of actions. Then see what the law will do to him and he now gets to be prosecuted.

Shameful total corruption of a whole city. All city council and mayor should be serving life in prison for ignoring all of this. Chief of police as well. I can't say were I have seen such blatten misjustus. Shame on all of them
