Hello everybody. My name is Michael Mojica and I am running to be your 2L class vice president.

I graduated from Grand Valley State University in May 2020 with a major in politics science and a minor in philosophy. I graduated with honors in both my major and minor, accruing a 3.8 GPA in political science and a 3.9 GPA in philosophy.

While I do not have leadership experience, I make up for that in intangibles. A natural born communicator, I will listen to the needs of every single student in my class and communicate them through the proper channels. I promise to work diligently to make sure our class is thoroughly represented.

As an outsider, I can guarantee to bring a fresh, new perspective to the table. It is not in my personal philosophy to conform to the regular norms of leadership. It is my philosophy to be flexible, approachable, accountable, and receptive.

What I lack in leadership experience, I make up for in teamwork experience . As a former varsity football, basketball and track athlete, I know first hand how to work as a team to achieve a common goal. My experience working in the fast food industry and the retail experience also renders me as able to excel in a team dynamic.

I am excited to embark on this new path, with an unfettered enthusiasm. No problem is too small for me to listen to. At the end of the day, I am here to serve you as a class!
