My name is Sarah Nassar and I currently serve as your 1L class president. I have had the honor of serving you and want to continue my effort to advocate for our class.
As you are aware, my goal is to make Mercy an inclusive environment for all. Where we can continue being a family and hopefully have many events in the near future. To show my efforts towards inclusivity I have personally started a Disability Law Association here on campus.
Here at Mercy Law, we are all a family, and I want to make sure to keep that alive. I'm grateful to have met you and heard your concerns.
My goal as President is to continue the familial legacy Detroit Mercy carries. And as a family, I know you want someone who can be there for you, someone who has been there for you, and someone who has experience and continues to fight for what we need. That someone is me.

I have spent the past few days speaking with many of you regarding the specific initiatives you would like to see implemented for our next academic year. Your feedback informs my upcoming platform updates and strengthens our collective vision for the student body. I look forward to sharing more details about those proposals shortly.
