Some people think that public transport is easy, cheap and affordable. But I totally disagree because it adds up to extremely expensive amounts in just a few weeks and thousands of people think that public transport needs to be cheaper and I am one of them. Here are the reasons why. Firstly, if public transport were cheaper, loads more people would use it and there would be hardly any traffic at times, especially peek hour. There would be less car accidents and less people having to deal with injury or death. So there would hardly be any usage of petrol and more usage of public transport such as buses, trains, boats and taxies. That will then help prevent global warming which impacts on the whole world. Secondly, lots of families with children would use public transport alot more to get to school and work and when parents take their kids to school they would usually arrive at work very late, but if they all used public transport then they would all arrive at where they wanted to be an on time. Then both parents would receive more money if there hours were stretched. Lastly, petrol prices are rising to tremendous amounts and parents never won't to pay the huge bill at the end of the month do they. But if they used public transport the bill would be at least 50% cheaper if public transport was much cheaper. So in conclusion, I think it’s crystal clear that public transport needs to be cheaper NOW to get lots more people to use it way more often because like they say, it would be so much easier, traffic is less congested and Global warming is 50% less prevented which is a extremely great help to the environment and all wildlife.
