my daughter was given an extra scan at 27 weeks, as she herself was born premature. lucky for her, this showed she had preaclampsia, was rushed to hospital straightaway and baby delivered by emergency caesarian the next day. He weighed 800g. We was told this happens a lot in first time mums at around 27 weeks,so it makes sense to book first time mums in for the 27 week scan as obligatory. please support this petition.
