Dear Fellow Brock Students, Do you find it inconvenient that we don't have a decent 24 hour study space? Sure there's the Kenmore center but honestly, is it the same as having access to the learning commons with proper study carrels, lighting, seating and the right atmosphere condusive to the type of academic work that is required of us? Would you really trust the heating to stay on in the Kenmore Center and risk staying there all night if you had a ton of stuff due the next day followed by a midterm (or more) each day after that for the next few days? I wouldn't! I'de much rather come home knowing there would be no service disruptions like the heating going off in the middle of the night. Having stayed inside the plaza overnight I have witnessed this first hand. Late into the night when even the buses stop running you start shivering and realize the heating had turned off a few hours ago. We deserve better than this! We all love Brock and we know there just HAS to be a way school management can keep the learning commons open for an extra 8 hours a night.
