Please know that the majority understands growth is essential for city economics, but the growth this city is currently under is stretching the limits of resources, and along with waste water drainage being completely outdated makes no sense. Please update the drainage system and while doing so would be the best opportunity to place sidewalks for our residents.

Safety is already an issue with the number of cars on this Peninsula. We have a new development that was grandfathered, so they aren't required to make any road improvements at all and probably will not. The congestion on Saunders Ferry up to the property in question is already too much to be safe due to the narrowness of the road. Please do not add to that with more cars.

There is no redeeming factor for doing this in the chosen location. It will only benefit the developer while degrading the quality of life for those of us who have made our homes near this property.

I lived on this peninsula for 37 years. The only reason we moved is because my late husband could not do the stairs anymore. Had to find a one level home but my heart is still on Elissa Drive. This peninsula does not need anymore building on it. If there was a disaster such as a dam breaks, the people in the back end of the peninsula would not be able to get out. The traffic at the front of the peninsula would be in a gridlock thus trapping the people in the back end. It just can not handle anymore traffic, the schools can’t handle anymore students, etc.

This peninsula does not have the infrastructure to handle the massive amount of traffic involved with something of this magnitude. Sandersferry rd would need to be widen to 5 lanes just to accommodate the traffic involved.

Just look at the traffic light at 3:45pm every day...you add six stories of residents, this light will require two lanes at a minimum. The city will pay for that. V
