Indeed. Have a look at Gad Saad's The Parasitic Mind. There is strong evidence that there are "outbreaks" of kids "becoming" trans. One kid comes out at a school, and them boom. Girls seem particularly prone to this phenomenon.

Sexual orientation of any sort has no place in a school environment.

My husband and I believe that everything evolving is messing with the students’ minds, forming confusion. Teenagers are confused enough without all this being added!

Looks like a slippery slope to nowhere land - look no further than the US schools. A classic case of trying to please everyone and ending up pleasing no one.

Saints now spends far more time on sexual education that it does on religious education, as a recent matriculant of the school I’m afraid I have to say that Christianity at Saints is becoming nothing more than a superficial marketing scheme. This is unacceptable and must be addressed.

This will result in the demise of the Christian family unit which they appear intent on destroying. Time to make a stand...

This is where education becomes indoctrination and has no place in our schools. It is causing more polarisation in society and not having the intended outcome. Leave the children alone.

I would add a fundamental concern that ad a supposedly Christian school I see no meaningful reference to the bible in this policy making process?

Deeply concerned about Methodist church eroding the value of the Cross and our Christian ethos. Christ is NOT separate from the Word of God. Get your paradigm right and true and base structure and systems on that or drop the Cross. Do not overstep your boundaries. I did NOT want my Prep daughter to learn about mint flavoured condoms during sex education. You are setting children up for sexual promiscuity, risky behaviour and identity crises at an age where they are not emotionally or sexually mature. Rather focus on academic support- this is what we pay for. Teachers have very little understanding of autism spectrum, anxiety disorder etc. and too many kids fall through the cracks with no support. Your offering is poor where this is concerned.

I am equally concerned that the school is actively involved in the promotion of gender ideology through its adoption of the SOGI curriculum, which could lead to sexualising and indoctrinating young children with content that is not age appropriate.

I share the concerns expressed in the questions that have been raised and urge constructive engagement on these critically important matters

Please don't follow the crazy USA and their woke culture!

As a parent of a future Grade 8 learner in Girls College next year we were not made away of these policies and would appreciate an interactive session that covers the very important questions raised in this petition. Transparency and communication is incredibly important when addressing such important and divisive issues.

I’m extremely concerned about the lack of consultation with parents on what I think is a fundamental shift in the school’s model. What other decisions will be made without involving the paying parent body?

I am against all forms of discrimination and I see the continuous conditioning of children and minors in regards fundamental aspects of upbringing such as to do with race / gender and equality by teachers and schools as another form of discrimination - these children should be guided firstly by their parents and secondly by their peers and then their own common sense in regards acceptable social norms and the idea that this should happen as a dorm of a " woke" educational standard is both disturbing and absurd in my view - Leave the Children to develop their own sense of being and stop indoctrinating them. Thank you
