We the undersigned are extremely concerned and cross over Southern Land's plan to build a 22 story tower in Green Hills across from Trader Joe's. The building of this tower goes against the building style of our area, it absorbs a great amount land at a crucial intersection and will only add to the complexity of driving through our city. The tower will also bring with it a tremendous amount of excessive traffic, which Green Hills is already having significant difficult with now. The tower will force more traffic into the already over run small neighborhoods as outsiders continue to find ways to bypass Hillsboro Road and potentially cause an increase risk to our children who ride bikes, walk and play in the area. We the undersigned are also concerned over the way in which this project has slipped through the hall of our legislator with any notification to us, the residents of Green Hills, and apparent disregard for our wants and needs AS TAX PAYING CITIZENS. We demand this project be placed on HOLD until which time the citizen of this city can have an active hand in determining our future and how we choose to live.
