I oppose the application and construction of a proposed boatyard across park land known as 205 Magee Ave. in Stamford, CT.
The property was purchased by the City of Stamford for the sole purpose of establishing additional park land for the Benefit of the Citizens of Stamford and preservation and conservation of tidal wetlands.
Seeing this kind of traction is heavy because it proves how many of us see what is being lost at the shoreline. I am exhausted by the fight but knowing you are behind this gives me the resolve to keep pushing forward.

Why buy the land for the public and then turn around and build a commercial boatyard? Makes no sense at all.

Stamford has enough construction already. Leave the park alone and stop trying to squeeze money out of every patch of grass.

The wetlands are already under enough pressure. Building there is just a terrible idea for the environment and for the traffic on Magee.
