I do not see any justification for this exam fee when we already paid over $1,000 in exam fees in our first semester. We already have the exam software and purchased any additional ones we needed. With that being said there is no valid reason for this additional charge. To make the matters worse, no one was notified about the additional charges which in itself seems sneaky and distasteful!

After all that we’ve been through with the closing of the College of New Rochelle, I think this is a very unjust move by Mercy College to try to double Bill us for a fee that was already paid while attending CNR. When the idea of the teach out was being sold to us as student this second exam fee was never mentioned to us. Why weren’t we told about this fee in our first semester so we could decide to stay at Mercy or not. Now that we have already invested a semester into Mercy College, now we’re getting this surprised fee?
