This is directed to the subject lecture of MMC400S and THE400S : Mr T Tshipanga and Dr Kanyarusoke respectively

We have consolidated as these students, that we ask for academic indulgence on the Midterm test written on the 10th and 12th of April respectively, based on the circumstances beyond anyone's control but the top decision makers.

Please consider our plea under the following mitigating factors:

• It is within the university's ambit to provide tutors and academic support for each class particularly the difficult modules.Thus far into the semester, we have not been able to access tutors (or any academic assistance) and lately the university decided to recall tutors for all modules.
• Subsequently, one of the major mitigating factors is that, In our Mechatronics program, we have no prerequisite programs of MOM4 and THE400S.ie MOM2 and MOM3, which than makes it the primary subject of concern when it comes to academic assistance.
• Lastly, please consider that we are behind with the schedule, this than puts a burden and pressure on speed in a learning environment, which is necessarily, how ever not at an expense of the objectives of learning.

Please note that we by no means equating all the current problems to you, however responding to the normalized abnormalities of comfort in an less-supportive academic space which makes it difficult for us to swim on our own to greater heights of understanding. We are sure will raise the matter up the hierarchy with urgency of academic support to catch-up with the remaining time without loosing the objectives of learning.

If by any means it happens that you may / may not have the respective authority to consider, please serve this letter to the HOD for further hierarchical penetration.
