NYC just had the warmest winter on record, there is no good reason why this project is so delayed.

Repairs on the school need to be completed as soon as possible. The construction is disruptive to the children, teachers and school staff as well as the neighborhood as a whole.

It is inexcusable that this construction has been delayed by a year now. We are extremely dissatisfied by the lack of commitment to the school, the contract and our children by the SCA and Kafka Construction. The project should be completed by this summer and all repairs made above and beyond the contract to ensure that the playground, classrooms, and building are open and in top shape for the coming school year. Our children and community deserve this at the very least.

Construction companies, including the City's SCA, should be sanctioned for such delays and related cost increases. Maybe then they'd complete work on time!

For the sake of our children attending this school and for the neighbors on 3rd and 4th streets who have been greatly disrupted by this long construction project, please ensure that the project is completed before the new school year begins in September.

Please help get the job done on time without further delay. The children of TNS school and the Star Academy deserved their recess time in their schools yard. This is very important for their growing bodies, mind and spirit.
Thank you!

Since the construction company is fined for being late, it makes sense that some or all of that money be allocated to the school and rebuilding the playground.

We have been patient. This is unconscionable. Children are impacted daily.

The construction work must be supervised. this has gone on long enough. It's ridiculous. I have watched entire high rise residential built from the ground up in this area in a fraction of time it has taken this construction crew to make the repairs to the school. I think the whole thing is a scam to milk more money out of the project! There are only a handful of workers on site when I pick up my son from afterschool

Our building is a really old building, and the updates were required in order to keep the building modern and up to do date. What is unacceptable are the continued delays in completion date, the damages caused to the top floor classrooms, and the lack of outdoor space for our students to enjoy at recess.

We demand that construction completed AND CLEANED UP by September 1, 2016, and that all damage to the yard and building as a result of construction be repaired. We will not accept any further delays!

The DOE's neglect of this construction project is outrageous. Our children should not be exposed to dangerous and unhealthy environments littered with used hypodermic needles, rat nests, and other garbage. These schools, along with the children, teachers, and staff in them, are jewels of NYC's crown and should be treated as such!!!

Please do not allow our children to continue on with these hazards any longer. Please hold Kafka Construction responsible!

Please complete the construction! It has exacerbated my child's and husband's allergies. I live down the street and the noise is a nuisance when we try to go to sleep.
