We the RS:X athletes in a unified voice request the the RS:X class and executives to take immediate action on moving the location of the 2016 RS:X World Championships from Israel to one of the alternate locations that have been put forth.
The executives running this class continue to ignore us and our safety concerns, but this surge of backing proves they cannot hide from the truth forever. We are building a level of pressure they never anticipated and we are not backing down until they move this event.

moving this is the only way to ensure the athletes can actually focus on competing instead of worrying about the local situation. pick a better spot.

to all the French sailors...we are sorry for the tragedy but what would you say if we now turned to ISAF and ask them to cancel the ISAF SAILING WORLD CUP | HYERES 2016 because France is not safe? Let us fight terror by NOT changing our lives!

THINK ABOUT THE FAMILIES. ISRAEL IS TOO DANGEROUS RIGHT NOW. JUST MOVE IT TO PORTUGAL OR ANYWHERE ELSE.

Really risky and total non respect of the athlete efforts to get ready to such an important event like this. If it's cancelled at the last minute, it's so much energy and time wasted for everyone. We are not under control of the next potential events that could happen between now and february 2016.

I feel that the safety concerns for the RSX class and it's athletes are far too high to host the RSX Worlds in Isreal. I vote for moving the worlds ASAP to Clearwater.
