A friend asked me if this is not politicizing the event. My answer is that I object to inviting CY Leung not because of his political leaning. After all, I have no way of knowing what he truly believes in. He could be a dyed in the wool Marxist-Leninist or he could be a CIA mole. No matter. His behaviour is that of a crook and a thug, and he has no place at SPCC.

A notorious one absolutely should not join such an event and in such role !!!
On the contrary, urge him to spend some time to think about himself and to what extent he still wants to ruin this place !? : (

The honourable guests to be present at this centenary celebration would commemorate this very historical event of the school. These honourable guests, I suppose, would have outstanding achievements for the city or in education. Mr. CY Leung is such a controversial figure in the Hong Kong society ever since he came on board - starting from his own conduct (such as; honesty in declaring his incomes). I sincerely hope the school's management committee in charge would withdraw this invitation to Mr. CY Leung. There are other achievers in the field of education, thought leaders who could make a much more meaningful contribution to what the school represented and should represent in the future.
This deserves a big F on the report card. Very disappointing and poor judgement. Once the principle of right and wrong is compromised, it is a slippery slope that will go downhill fast. Don't do it.

(1994 Form 5) I already signed the petition but I have something to add. CY Leung is a disgrace to Hong Kong. Nothing is improved. In fact it gets worse. He is basically a microphone from China, without any sense of standing up for Hong Kong. His presence at SPCC will destroy everything SPCC stands for. We are against him, but at the same time we are also against those in the school committee who, for some unknown reason, DARE to invite CY.

對於梁振英先生現今在香港所行的政策，使香港人貧者越貧、物價越來越高漲、公立醫院等候醫療或手術時間越来越長、公屋輪候人數越来越多無法解诀、任由商舖租金無限高升不管制，使全港市民消費越來越貴間接幫手交貴租、誇境車輛堵塞香港交通、自由行遊客塞爆地鐵以致地鐵連使用樂器者也要無理登記、市民愈住愈細，危險及不合法細房出租愈多、消防及人身安全愈無保障、將公務員变成合約制毫無歸屬感，不及從前上下一心。香港人是全世界工時最長的工作奴隸，但標準工時仍未能保障工作者的合理時間，有損個人心身健康，教育TSA多餘及勞役學童，剝奪兒童快樂。梁先生將大學校委会及大學最重要職位私有化，用人唯親，將最有資格及名望的學者利用校委会投票迫退，此乃過去香港港督及特首從未有過的，要知道政府資源並非梁先生的私產，所有政府收入來自所有香港的人與地。看不出梁先生的政策有何公平及可以讚揚的地方。一個城市的領導人應有真正的政策為民，可是如今貧者困苦，統計月入3500元不算貧窮，自欺欺人，連交租也不夠。中產業主更飽受圍標之苦，政府不重視、無對策。梁先生自身不交待5000萬元、僭建屋宇，備受大眾質疑理應辭職，當年梁錦松、楊永強受人質疑立刻辭職以示公允，梁先生理應效法。梁先生任內湯顯明事件至今未解決，損害簾署公信力。陳茂波及地政署職員囤地疑云毫不理会。梁先生本身家庭問題多多，建議梁先生先做好家庭之間的和諧，再做其他事。先正視自身的誠信問題，才好坦誠面對各場合出席者。至於興建高鐵、机場第三跑道、沙中線問題多多，徒然浪費全港市民及納税人金錢。鉛水事件還未追究真正害人的供應者。梁先生首先解決这些問題再來面對人群吧，唔該你，若没有能力解決以上事件請你早些落台，交俾第二位做啦，唔該哂。

我不明白行政長官跟母校有何關係。母校出身而受社會尊敬的校友甚多，為何要邀請行政長官擔任主禮嘉賓。我擔心會給校友和家長一個跟政府高官關係密切的印象。
