I support residential sprinklers due to the fact that the maunfacturers reluctancy to coat the lightweight building materials with a fire retardant and all the plastics in the home today.

having been in the fire service for more than 40 years, I support the provisions of the IRC that would require the installation of residential sprinklers in new or substantially refurbished 1 and 2 family homes
