PLEASE do NOT split my family (or any other FISD family)…..FISD stresses UNITY! This will not happen within my family if you separate my boys to different high schools….They are one grade apart and this will effect them for the rest of their high school experiences!……Not to mention the fact that I work at an FISD elementary school in McKinney and my husband travels almost every week. It will be a huge burden on our family logistically!

FISD needs to find a better solution than temporary assignments. My oldest and youngest will be zoned for Wakeland while my middle son would be zoned for Reedy. Makes no sense.

There's has to be a better solution! This proposal will split my family with one child @ Wakeland and one at Reedy! then my youngest back to Wakeland!

It will impact my oldest girl for the next three years because of failed planning.

Temporary reassignments are anything but temporary for the students affected by this proposal! If this is allowed to happen to The Trails and Meadowcreek, rest assured, the precedent will have been set and then no neighborhood/feeder pattern/household is "safe."

Same House! Same School! Most parents do not move or change schools on their children when they are in their high school years as to not disrupt this most critical time in their education, why would we allow FISD to do that to our children!

This zoning proposal is terrible. Both for the Trails kids and the Park Place/Vilage Lakes kids. KEEP THE KIDS IN THEIR FEEDER PATTERN! Keep them with their community and their support system! I love Frisco but hate what they think is ok to do to our kids!

Breaking up families is an apalling precedent for this city to set. This is not the story you want told as two Fortune 500 companies are about to set up HQs on our borders. Think about the people in the community, not the numbers in a spreadsheet.

This proposal will split our family apart for four years. My oldest son,daughter and youngest son will attend Wakeland while my middle son will be zoned for Reedy. The students of the 2018 & 2019 classes in The Trails are not just numbers. They belong to our families, neighborhoods and belong at Wakeland. Please choose an option that will keep our families and neighborhoods together.
