Please consider more suitable, longer term solutions that better take into account the families that are affected by this and the impact to our community.

My children are more than just place holders. When my son is a senior and my other son is a freshman they SHOULD be at the same school! Don't ruin that once in a lifetime experience for them!!!

I am against my kid being spackling to fill your crack. I am especially against my 8th gader going to Reedy and my 7th grader going to Wakeland. That just dosent pass the common sense test.

There simply must be a better way than to split families - any families - during this rezoning and growth process. FISD prides itself on putting the student and family first - it just does not seem logical to split a family and force each to attend different high schools. For a duel income family with both parents working you can only imagine the issues this would cause. Do the right thing and allow my family to stay together.

FISD School Board please do the right thing. Do not let politics get in the way of logical thinking. Rick Cohagan does it really make sense to spit families and have kids in the same house go to two different schools? Would you want this for your family?
