The school board should be more responsive to the people who pay the school taxes. A little flexibility is in order.

I am adamantly opposed to any unplanned temporary rezoning of students. Our votes and prior knowledge of rezoning of populations for schools is a very poor plan. I am frankly appalled at even the thought of this type of behavior. Previously, I had been proud of FISD and it's planning and management. I have no children whom would be effected, but I do believe that this type of impromptu action sets a precident and would negatively affect the stellar reputation of FISD, and would lower our appeal and property values. Please do not go forward with this plan! Sincerely, Vita Taylor, 1628 Carson Lane, resident since 2006.

I understand that when rezoning occurs, upperclassmen remain at the old school while younger ones attend the new one. But it is unprecedented that the even younger siblings would then begin attending the old school, leaving families split apart much longer than necessary, and perhaps multiple times.

This is not fair to these young people who have invested interests in their current school which will be lost forever. This is an injustice to the value of education coming from and educator for 40 years.

Please do not use our families as a temporary band aid - the families of the Trails are not expendable!
