Greetings Summoners!
This is a petition I am hoping will gain some community growth.
The plan is simple: We boycott any Riot Point purchases for the remainder of 2013 (Including Christmas Sales), until our demands are met.
Demands:
- New upgraded hardware.
- New staff to deal with the network, primarily at prime time (6:00 GMT On wards).
- An apology listed in the news feed for the downtime, and the steps Riot Games has taken to solve these issues.
Riot Games makes a substantial amount of money from both it's Riot Point Purchases, and from advertising hardware and software from manufacturers, for example, Razer. The community is seeing very little of these funds re-invested in ensuring that Gamers have a fun and enjoyable experience. They even have the community deciding the outcome of their reports for them via the tribunal for free!
The Riot Servers, Ranked Queues and Ability to play League of Legends have been offline, day after day. This is NOT a recent occurrence. This has happened consistently for a year now, and has worsened as time goes on.
It is clear that the frequent forum posts and community complaints are falling on deaf ears, so it's time we sent them a message that they cannot ignore, a message on their balance sheets.
Please, Sign this Petition. Share it. Get the Ball Rolling. If we don't, this will continue indefinitely.
But most importantly. Do not Purchase RP during 2013!
