The church should be leading the way on this; its silence gives a clear message of disapproval not one of love and inclusion.

I sign on behalf of the Jesus-loving queer people I know and love who feel called to ministry within the Church of the Nazarene and fear that they will not be allowed to serve. Let us love one another, for love is from God.

This is long overdue. While I am a cis straight man, the homophobic hypocrisy is a big reason I left the Nazarene church.

It is time to include our LGBTQAI2S+ friends and family in our tradition and honor their love.

I highly doubt that this will do anything but cause division, as it did in the Methodist church, however if that is what needs to happen, then so be it.

If we choose to NOT own slaves out of love (even if fully supported via OT and NT scripture), we can support the LGBTQIA+ community in love and for love.

As a pastor in the CON and a parent of 2 queer children, I fully support the inclusion of my family and their friends.
