I'm still using my mid-2010 MBP 17 inch and it is still great!...but for how long? I rue the day I have to retire it and get a 15" MBP as a replacement...that 17" screen size makes it worth the investment as a desktop replacement (no external monitor needed).

please bring back mac book pro 17 inch. I use it every day and need the extra space. My eye site is not that good.

I am surviving on a 2009 17" MBP and if it dies I will have to get a refurbished one. Apple, please make a new 17" laptop.

Sigh - confession time - deeper Sigh - Last week, I actually went to the DELL website and looked at a 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-7820HK AlienWare 17 laptop, even worse the specs were AWESOME. Apple you have driven me to desperate levels of desperation. Seriously Apple get it together, I can't hold out much longer.

I have a 17" late 2011 MBP and do Architecture on it. It is all I need except for more graphics power and ram. Currently limited to 16 GB and we need 32GB. Please.

Apple - I need an update 17" MBP - I'm willing to donate a vital organ to get one (ok - not willing to go THAT far) but you get the idea - Meanwhile I REFUSE to buy your PUNY 15" laptops regardless of the fancy touch bar. Yes we know it'll be expensive - YES - we will line up to buy it - WHY? cause it's worth it to us!

Love my 2011 MBP with 17" screen. I've had to scrounge for logic boards and graphics chips to keep it running but I would pay a premium for a new model with similar screen real estate.

J'ai un MacBook Pro 17 pouces d'avril 2011 et il est super pour la photo. Le poids est insignifiant. Et il a une grande autonomie.

I'd love this. Also a 17 ipad pro would be cool too!
