There is nothing reflective in the "quantity" of 12 as it relates to the tradition of the 12th man. There is also nothing in an empty seat that represents the 12th Man. This proposed tribute doesn't capture the spirit of the 12th man in any way and it makes no sense..

If you want to protect the trademark, then hire better lawyers. This is a horrendously contrived and misguided.

This seems like a contrived and forced idea! It is the 12th Man not 12 men. It is empty seats to pay tribute to all of us there standing ready to support our team? How does empty seats promote that? It is going to promote more ridicule and Aggie Jokes which we do not need it is time to put an end to that!!! Erect a statue of E King Gill on the third deck front row. Provide 12 12th Man honary seats for special students at each game or special guest but don't leave them empty and make a mockery of what the 12th Man tradition is really about which is being there and being ready and being heard !!!!!

How are empty seats representative of how well the students pack the stands? It's an inversion of logic and we will be ridiculed - for good reason.

If this effort continues, at least use the seats for special reasons: special guests, former members of the 12th Man upgrades, current 12th Man upgrades

This "memorial" is an obvious marketing ploy and lessens the strength of any tradition or group you are trying to represent.

At Texas A&M traditions are not objects, they are ACTIONS. These empty seats prevent 12 or more members of the 12th Man from fulfilling their duties. Please do not add this confusing, unneeded memorial/tribute to Kyle.Field.I am not asking for plans to be modified or for the seats to represent another group, I strongly feel they should not be there at all.
