Very eye opening to see it as a marketing ploy ("guaranteed to show these seats on every TV broadcast) and less to truly honor THE 12th man. Not good.

I have been an Aggie since I was born during the A&M vs. Baylor game October 16, 1993. This 12 empty seats idea is an awful idea.

I agree with a previous comment wanting to honor the 12 through their memorial and letting the 12th Man fill up these seats!

Let's continue to honor the 12 through their memorial. Let's honor the 12th man by filling up these seats for our team!

I would think the 12th man statue with 11 people doing Saw'emOff with a spot for a fan to join in is appropriate enough

There will be plenty of memorials around the outside of Kyle Field, There is no need for this one inside as it is confusing and not at all in line with the spirit of the Twelth Man tradition.

If the 12th man is to be "memorialized" then put a likeness of Gill ready to head out on the field wherever he WAS ready to head out on the field.

Empty seats do not reflect the 12th Man being ready to be called in. This doesn't make sense, it makes A&M look stupid and it is a waste of perfectly good seats that some rich alumni will pay big bucks for. A statue of E. King Gill somewhere on campus or around Kyle Field would be a much better representation of the 12th Man, not empty seats. I hope the school is smart enough to realize that this makes no sense what so ever.

We have an outstanding memorial already to honor those who lost their lives. Why do we need another.

Do not leave 12 empty seats to symbolize anything. We are the 12th Man, hundreds of thousands strong.
