1290 WMCS for decades has been recognized as the voice of Milwaukee's African-American adults. WMCS features weekday talk radio and news, provide valuable information to its core demographics, African-American adults 35 to 70 years. WMCS delivers to a listening audience of educated, progressive, African-Americans both young and old. These listeners are loyal to WMCS because it is the only station in Milwaukee dedicated to serving them exclusively with the facts that are of concern to them. The recent change in it's format came without advance knowledge to the listeners and has demonstrated a callous disregard to the interest and intelligence of Milwaukee's African American Community. Therefore we have created this petition as a measure of solidarity and support of the 1290WMCS Talk Radio Format and the Radio Personalities and Hosts who worked diligently to keep us unbiasedly informed of the interests and concern that effect us its listeners. Let's stand together on this important cause. Please Sign this and share this petition to all you know!
