Also, I am in full support of the above outlined goals. Thank you.

I live in Covelo, a small community with a huge dependence on the cannabis economy. Centralized processing, co-packing, and distribution is critical to the economic health of Covelo/Round Valley, but nearly all possible sites for such a facility are potentially hampered by set-back requirements. I encourage the BOS to use the overlay process to thoughtfully and appropriately remove these economic roadblocks wherever possible. Thank you! - Jeff

Given the need for these outreach efforts, the timeline for implementing Opt-In Overlays countywide may need to extend beyond six months, and we suggest that, if necessary, the window for permitting applications be extended in order to accommodate all communities seeking an Opt-In Overlay.
