William F. Bankhead, a former Vietnam Vet and WTC 2 Victim, was arrested upon the false allegation of his ex Domestic Partner, Silda Ramirez, a hairstylist from Zoila's Hair Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. It was obvious to anyone involved in the investigation that Ms. Ramirez was acting vindictively due to a breakup. She claimed the man had came into her place of employment and pushed her onto a salon chair. This occurred on May 5th 2010. Mr. Bankhead, who also Dominican like Ramirez, but he is Black, she being White, produced medical records proving he was in fact in Manhattan. (1) at a lower Eastside office of "Housing Works, and (2) at group therapy upon Broardway, NY. Ramirez refused to cooperate with the grand jury; the case flounder until Bankhead was simply released pending disposal. Angered over this Ms. Ramirez dreamt up another arrest. This time she falsely accussed her ex-boyfrind of violating the Order of Protection by coming near or inside of the hair salon on May 20th, 2010. Records, that is, some 15 written Declarations signed by his Pastor, church members, a City Attorney, plus hi9s Metroc-Card records, Veteran Administration, SUNY school and other records all place Mr. Bankhead, the Blackman, in Queens, and in Metropolitan Hospital, and even Bellevue Hospital--definitely nowhere near Ms. Ramirez--the White woman. He was remanded to Rikers Island. Now, keep in mind that DA Charles Hynes has kept an outspoke racist policy; one that he refuses to prosecute White women who lie upon Black man. Recently, a white nun claimed to have been dragged through sniow, stripped and raped by a Black man. She later confessed to having made up the story. Police harassed an un-told number of East New York Black males in the East New York section of Brooklyn. When the media asked Charles if he would seek the white woman's prosecution, he answered "That's un-productive." Keep that in mind. Now, Mr. Bankhead, who has torn knee ligaments was forced to wlak, climb steps, prison buses and courthouse stepsin severe pain. The man suffers fromcancer. Throughout his forced jailing without bail, he was refused medical attention. Legal Aid demanded a wheelchair, at least for the man, or cane or knee braces. This was denied. Too, when ordered to appear before the second Grand Jury, Ms. Ramirez failed to show up just like she did in the first attempt by the DA. No witness-- no case, right ? Nope, this case has now turned racist. In goose-steps Judge Miriam Cyralnik withint Part DV-1 of Kings County. She insist upon a conviction from the start and by her very acts. When told of the Mr. Bankhead's illnesses, and having the power to order an investigation and remedy, she didn't. When Mr. Bankhead asked his lawyers---C.Calvin Saunder, Esq, a Black, and Steven L. Hubert, Esq, to present thew favorable records, ensure that his right would be protected--they did nothing. One damaging piece of evidence to the DA's case is that Ms. Ramirez has a long history in Kings County for warehousing into jail her ex-lovers, and upon domestic violence charges. Too, she had been arrested, yet released on her own by weapon charges and use of same upon Mr. Bankhead---the damaging evidence, there was his Order of Protection signed by Judge Robert Kalish which prohibitted Ramirex from having "any other contact" with Mr. Bankhead. She refused to bey that order by actually making use of a third party, a Legal Aid lawyer to write for the release personal property, same allegedly held by Mr. Bankhead. When this evidence was brough to the attention of the defensive lawyers and Judge Cyralnik,a White woman, it was ignored and never acted upon. Matter of fact, Bankhead, a Paralegal for many years, actually filed his own motions. (1) to Vacate his forced guilty plea, one that was toretured from him by the lack of medical attention, (2) thriough a Writ of Habeas Corpus. Each of these legal papers--up uintil today, have never been waived, entertained or ruled upon by Jusdge Cyralnik simply because Mr. Bankhead, obviously--is Black, and Ms. Ramirez is White. All folowing the racist policies of DA Charles Hynes. To add insult to the injuries of Mr. Bankhead, the judged ordered Bankhead to be brought into court upon an office stool having wheels, she acknowledged his injuries, but desired to poke fun. She also had him in the courthouse 11 times without ever seeing anyone, all tresulting more physical pain and torture. An innocent man went to jail just becuase of the color of his skin. The DA couldn't prove his case against thew man, but his race was Mr. Bankhead's downfall. On March 18th 2010, after 7.5 months in jail, all of the lawyers involved are facing the Disciplinary Committee, and sued for $40 Million Dollars. He is presently planning to attack his comnviction directly by (1) filing for anew Motion to Vacate the Judgment and Sentence, but (2) Staying the Proceeding in the City's Criminal Court pending as Federal Court Removal of the Case due to racism. Judge Cyralnik is also facing the NYS Commission on Judicial Conduct for her conduct. It is asked of the Good People out there to sign this petition demanding removal from office of these Hate Crimes Contributors. Didn't they learn enough from another demon---Hitler ? A Federal Investigation in urgently needed here--staring with Ramirez, cops, DA, lawyers and judge. Title 18 USC forbids violations of Civil Rigjhts.
