I Do Not Approve of what has been going on with the rental property at 709 North Cuernavaca Dr. for the last 5 years. I would want to make sure that the owner is required to cut the trees and shrubs so that Travis County Inspectors and myself will know in the future what is happening on this property! Also I want to see strict building codes and zoning laws passed for single family and multi-family rental properties in Travis County, as well as, tougher laws requiring the Landlord to provide proper screening on future tenants!

i had a friend who lived there. I was appauled by the conditions.
I put out 50 fliers Wednesday November 27 and obtained 6 signatures while at the door. I told the 6 homeowners I would add them on the on-line petition. When I did it came up with all of them living in Fredericksburg, Texas. To keep this from happening in the future everyone will have to go on-line and sign for themselves.

I keep hearing in the field that Travis County has no single family codes or strict zoning laws to keep this from happening. I have been told it is like the old west. Well, I don't buy that. This is the 21st century the last time I checked. You cannot blame the prop property owner, because he cannot help himself. You have to put the blame on the law makers.So with that being said here are Kirk Watson (Senator) (512)-463-0114. Troy Fraser (Senator) (512)-463-0124.Paul Workman District 47 (512)-463-0652. Also, Texas Environmental Quality Commission 1-(888)-777-3186.
The property is listed as Casey Family Limited Partnership (owner). Warranty Deed as of June 3, 2005 in the names of H.K. (Kirk) Grander and Catherine V. Grander. Deed Number: 2005100773TR It seems to me that the Granders formed this corporation so they can be negligent with the tenants and the surrounding property owners.
There was an Assault with High and Aggravated nature this past week-end (Saturday November 16, 2013) on the property. I will send everyone the Travis County Sheriff's report as soon as I get it!!

It is worst than that Kristen. The owner allowed a tenant to be assaulted by another tenant (an Illegal alien)for almost a year. The guy was scared for his life! The owner did nothing about it. Read the Travis County Sheriff's Department Incident Report on Jon Hoover. It has 15 pages of reports for this 1 incident that occured for almost as year.
