The average salary of Bahamians does not allow for the purchase of a modern car. Especially with VAT now being charged on the purchase price and shipping. If the government was serious about the environment the first step is to take action on the dump fires.

I really don't agree 4 the ban to stop Bahamians from bringing in 10 year old cars because not every one can afford it and the cars in the Bahamas cost to much and that may cause the car companys in the Bahamas to raise their prices on the poor Bahamian peopel
