I am currently compiling the concerns left in our comments to present them directly to the Department of Conservation. Email your local Member of Parliament today to demand they prioritize research into safer baiting methods.

Pest control should focus on: • Being non-toxic • Being humane • Creating employment I support banning the use of 1080 in NZ!
STOP POISONING OUR WATERWAYS! its 2018 not 1950. find humane options.
1080 is lazy management. trap and hunt is the real solution if they actually cared about the environment instead of just ticking boxes for 2050.

Enough with the poison drops in our forests. My dog got sick near a drop zone last year and it was awful. Look for better ways.
