As a past President of Society of Architectural Historians Chicago Chapter I find it hard to believe the Highland Park government would allow this to happern. This is a beautiful part of local history and design and is irreplaceable.

Please, do not destroy this landmark. HP is loosing many of his original constructions and it is sad to see this happening. By all means the home should be preserve and be protected.

Chicago is being destroyed, bit by bit. Handcrafted details and architectural gems are no longer respected. Do NOT allow this beauty to be torn down and replaced with glass and steel high- rises, or overpriced town homes.

Too much of our heritage and historical architecture is being destroyed and really craftsmanship that can never be replaced. It would be a really shame if this happened to this home. Please let landmark it forever so our children's, children will be able to be blessed with the art and spirit of this special man and home.
