I find it hard to understand how anyone can be opposed to this. This is the city. This is downtown. This is what urbanization looks like. This is GREEN. These types of urban developments are actually better for the environment than the suburbs. Halifax needs more of this, not less.

What visually is the difference between 20 and 29 stories. Would the extra 9 stories block the view of a funny shaped cloud? Pick any 20 story building and imagine an extra 9 stories. Is there any real difference? If there were more taller and taller buildings downtown, maybe there would be enough population density to necessitate building the new outpatients centre downtown. Bring the development to downtown dartmouth, we'd be happy to see it over here.

Please consider allowing the height to be returned to the 29 stories that was approved in 2016. Halifax must be BOLD, not shrivel to Willow tree group. We are a growing population and need access to options that dont just include south end single dwelling homes.

I support this development wholeheartedly. The aversion to change, growth and height is a too loud and too often heard from minority in this city. City council needs to put what is best for the city first and stop pandering to these obstructionists. There is no valid reason to limit height for this location other that "just because"

This is a great development for the downtown. I don't see why there would be any opposition against this development. Do we really want more urban sprawl or do we want more great developments like this in the downtown area.
