It seems that there is some validity to the issue regarding wall preparation. Also, The price seems to be excessive, but maybe that's just me as virtually everything we do seems to cost twice as much as it should -- i.e. the lobby and the landscaping

'Ripples' are caused by the walls not being prepared appropriately for this wallpaper and the 'taping' of the walls not being sanded for the level necessary - notwithstanding the application. Our designer is as much at fault and liable as the contractor and subcontractor by not insisting in proper wall preparation and attention to the execution. Did we not have a project manager or representative in place from 100 East Bellevue – were they overseeing the progress of this project? Just as awful is the poorly installed and ghastly use of VCT Vinyl Tile in our Freight Elevator Lobbies. We live in the Gold Coast – not some cheap rental building.

Work is not up to par. Would like to see our Decorating and Landscape people brought back. We need input from people in addition to those on the Board.

I send letters, and receive no responses. The amount of money being spent by the Committee Head and the Board is appalling when compared to the selections made ( with opposition to the Design Committee) and the quality of the work being done. Is no one minding the store? History is repeating itself and no one seems to care. Our beautiful buildings' hallways now look like a dingy basement !!!! May I suggest you get some new blood and new eyes to oversee this fiasco. When the Committee's Head received adverse opinions from the design committee, the committee was disbanded. This has resulted in a travesty. What a shame. I am no longer proud to say 100 E. B. is my home.

The hallways are dull, dreary and the workmanship is shoddy. This is a repeat of what the lobby looks like - please do something befitting this building and the residences - we have certainly spent enough money to have a more appealing lobby and hallways.

Agree that hall wallpaper not hung properly. Not befitting a quality Gold Coast building.
