Ok, so while I know this may not be as big an issue as ending world hunger or poverty or anything, it's still something I think would be pretty nice to have in these times.
In July of 2012, the show "1000 Ways to Die" ceased airing due to a strike at Spike TV put on by the staff and actors.
This show, a docu-fiction-comedy with the narration of the amazing Ron Perlman, detailed stories of some of the stupidest and most bizarre ways people could (and nearly in ALL cases actually HAVE) met the Grim Reaper. From being crushed by a falling bathtub while spying on tenants to getting caught in a woodchipper to even historical deaths like that of Harry Houdini and Jack Daniels, this show tackled them all with gore, comedy, and even professionals and guests providing not just commentary, but cgi displays on HOW each death happened, (The late Charlie Murphy even giving a very funny commentary on 70s culture during a segment involving Lawn Darts)
With a lot of the stupid acts going on in the world and some of the more stressful times, I think we ALL could use a bit of a laugh and I think now would be a great time to bring 1000 ways to Die back on the air!
Spike TV may no longer exist (having become the Paramount Network at the beginning of 2018), but there are other channels that this show could be a good fit on!
HBO, Comedy Central, Netflix, Adult Swim, AMC.... Heck, even the Paramount Network!
My goal with this petition is to show that there is still a large fanbase for the show and to send it to some of the people at the top of the TV food chain and see if maybe we can't get the show brought back or even get a full 1000 Ways to Die DVD set with new deaths!
It worked for Firefly, it worked for Senses8, let's see if it can't work for 1000 Ways to Die!

I really cannot believe how many people actually miss Ron Perlman narrating these bizarre deaths as much as I do. It is honestly kind of surreal to see this moving so fast because I honestly just started this on a whim while thinking about old episodes and now here we are with enough momentum that maybe someone actually decides to listen.

I like this show it should be brought back and done Justice and with the technology we got the episode could be even better
This show DEFINITELY needs to come back! I loved it, start-to-finish, and couldn't believe they canceled it so quickly!
Scared me when I was little but now I love I hope they do bring this back so I’m not stuck on YouTube to see it
This is a good show. Yea i didnt know they were not actual deaths that happened at that day, but it was so well informed and so detailed that they should bring it back. Its probably not going to happen, but its worth a shot. Hell maybe itll be like remade movkes where it takes decades for a classic to be back
I am currently the "host" of this show (actually just a popular uploader of this show on Youtube) and this was my go-to show after school as a kid with my friends. Support this petition to bring this show back as this show deserves a second chance!
