The town has grown so much and people want an active healthy lifestyle and raise active healthy families. If I compare the pool facility in Okotoks with other towns eg Red Deer, Kelowna, Medicine Hat I feel that we are far behind in providing an appropriate facitity to promote a love for fitness. The Foothills Stingrays swim club has amazing coaches and the swimmers are achieving excelent results and representing the town all over Canada. We deserve a better pool for sure!

It would be fantastic to see Okotoks build a 10 lane 50 m pool. The swim club could grow, we could host bigger swim meets and support other aquatic sports. Definitely an excellent asset to our community.
