My idea is to have a 10¢ fee on non-reusable
plastic bottles. When Toronto introduced the plastic bag law, the plastic
garbage dropped 53% over 4 years with the 5¢ fee. With a 10¢ fee on plastic bottles
I believe we can do way better than 53%. It would mean that a case of 24 water
bottles with the 10¢ fee would cost $2.40 extra which I think is worth it to
save the environment.

Makes total sense. We need to stop all the plastic waste killing the lakes.
