I would totally agress, as the SHN standards are not met for the amount we paid.

It would be reasonable for people to pay if there was awareness of this earlier on before choosing to travel with knowledge of a 3 week hotel quarantine. However, given that people were already in SHN and then made to continue to stay without prior warning or clarity, it would only be fair that the additional cost be absorbed as the alternative would be for people to stay at home for no additional cost.

This information is so sudden. I personally experience disadvantage as i need to present in singapore to renew my EP, house lease, mental health to stay longer in quarantine, plus the quarantine cost itself.

We arrived Singapore before the announcement or changes, needing us to foot our bill especially when we are already serving our SHN. This last minute changes not only affect our financial planning, but also our delay in returning to work. We have planned our return to Singapore wisely.

Bearing the cost when it's upfront is acceptable. That's on us. But when the regulations change and the duration extends from 14 to 21 days while you're ALREADY serving SHN, it's like changing a contract after it has been signed. It's unreasonable!

Please consider how we feel; to have to deal with the news while we are alone and serving our SHN. We want to comply and to help keep Singapore safe; we just ask for understanding and graciousness.
