The momentum we have built proves that students are tired of arbitrary rules about socks and shirts. Email your local school board representative today to demand that they review this outdated uniform policy.

As a parent of a student at Toronto high school and as many other parents will agree the uniforms are to much money for a single item and student should be able to were an item such as school colours and make uniforms unisex.
They should allow students that can’t afford uniforms from the school to go to the shops and bye either navy or grey pants or even white or blue blouses to make it easier for student and parents who can’t afford uniforms.
i am a former student at toronto high, and i belive uniforms should not be gendered as we are loving forward to becoming more open and accepting of lgbtqia+ people. clothing should not even be gendered in the first place as everyone should have the right to feel safe wearing anything regardless of gender or identity!
I think that this is a much needed change that ideally should have happened a long time ago :)
I’m non binary and apparently it’s out of uniform if I wear half boys half girls clothes so having unisex clothing would be great

The uniform is so stupid as a person who identifies as a black man I want to be able to wear any socks and I want their to even be a uniform option for rainbow socks
