Hong Kong will soon lose everything that makes it unique. The tram is not only a part of history but also part of many ppl's way of getting around. How was that the government is even contemplating getting rid of it.

To be fair, tram isn't the cause of traffic jam in Central, it's mostly illegal double or triple parking of private cars and trucks along Queen's Road Central that has caused the problem.

HK Trams are efficient and its icon is especially important to HK Island and to HK. Practically this is a great transportation for HK-ers of all classes. Those who propose such cancellation are really nonsense.

I lived more than 5year in hongkong and the tram is one of its main landmark in hk. Everyone who visit hk will want to take the tram, it is very similar to san francisco tram. Hk, like Sf wont be itself without it.
On a personal point of view i often take the tramway to go home after work as it is very relaxing, allows me to enjoy the city view and go to my destination at the same time. During the rest of time the portion central to admiralty or wanchai is a huge time savior.
Tram has to be kept as it is, it is perfect for locals and it does attract tourists.
The tram is an icon of Hong Kong. It's nonsense to cancel central to admiralty segment of its service.

Hong Kong trams are cheap to use, iconic and environmentally friendly. With pollution levels regularly reaching dangerous levels in Hong Kong, and many global cities focusing on alternatives to cars, surely as an Asian powerhouse, Hong Kong should be the leader in the region in finding alternatives to car usage?

KEEP the tram as it is now!!! we all want the tram! It's environmental a lot more friendly than those cars out there! It's a very popular beloved public transportation! We have to keep this unique part of Hong Kong, instead of destroying all the cultural heritage!

the trams are an efficient and cost effective form of transport and more environmentally friendly form of transport than cars, buses or mtr. To ease congestion get the police to actually enforce the no parking/clear way signs on queens rd/des vouex road. When queens rd is a 2-3 lane road but only one is drivable because of people double parking. And get deliveries to only be outside of peak hours

There are many memories between me and trams. Mum always take me school and out by tram since I was a kid. It's a sharing memories between hk people.
