I am one of the fans of tramways who lives in Shau Kei Wan. Tramways is always my best transportation to travel to Kornhill, North Point and other destination within a short distance on HK Island because of the cost efficiency and convenience.
I have heared lots of westerner say HK is a cultural desert and lack of cultural things, etc. HK needs to reserve some importance cultural stuffs, especially public transports as we all grow with them. Worse still, HK is unlike some international cities, such as Tokyo and London, they have their own transport museum to reserve those culture.
As everyone know tramways service is improving. The company has been refurbishing its fleet to make the trams run, accelerate and decelerate quicker. Moreover, announcement system and Next Tram have been introduced. However, tramways is lack of tram-only lanes and loops for westbound trams to make it more efficient.

trams do not create traffic jams. privately owned cars and oversized buses do. additionally, trams create only a fraction, if any, of the pollution vehicles that run on fossil fuels do. it is in the interest of the public to keep the trams.

電車是港島區交通的一大特色，現在還有很多人用作代步，加上車費之便宜，不是其他公共交通可取代的。

Team is a remarkable icon in hk. Especially its double deck design. It can find in hk only not in other place. Comparing to MTR system, it may not very effective. However it provides short distance travel with low price. This can benefit the grassroots.

叮叮係香港最代表性的標誌! 點可以話cut就cut，不知所謂! 如果係塞車，咁排交警多d巡邏，或者用CCTV觀察，錄低違反者，然後罰款。

光是節省交通費方面，特別是在這種物價高企的時代，電車的地位無可代替。這是家中沒有私家車的小市民心聲。
