Whatever idiot suggested taking a chunk out of the middle of the tram route really hasn't thought this through. It will be the same as during Occupy when trams couldn't complete their trips. It would probably lead to the disbandment of all trams - unless that is the idea. Don't forget a huge number of people use the tram as its so much cheaper & pleasanter than being stuck underground.

Please do not remove the tram! It is part of HK's charm, and it carries every day so many passengers, especially between Central and Admiralty. Plus, the tram is environmentally friendly. More cars, more traffic... this is probably not the best idea.
I don't think it makes any sense for the general public or environment to remove the trams. The people who want to remove the trams is for self gain purposes.

Cars are the problem, not the priority when it comes to Hong Kong transit. Follow other cities such as Singapore and restrict the number of cars and trucks which can enter Central.
I love HK because it has tram

電車不慢！又便宜又便利，仍然是穿梭跑馬地的惟一鐵路！ 只要打擊電車軌阻塞，電車就可以更快捷！
電車服務香港多年，已經成為了香港市民最常乘搭的公共交通工具之一。 故此，本人希望電車能夠得以保留，令電車能夠繼續服務香港市民！
