Common sense must prevail! Trams MUST remain! They are environmentally friendly and affordable as well as being a Hong Kong icon. I suggest that cars be banned from driving on tram lines and that trams are given priority on all roads. Even better ban cars from most roads that trams run on and only have trams and padestrians. Keep Trams. Increase trams and decrease amount of cars on roads and padestrianise more roads. This will improve the standard of living and the environment for Hong Kong residents.

1. 如取消電車，不如禁止私家車先。 2. 如取消電車，不如取消的士。 3. 改作只有電車和行人専用區，加上綠化。 網路上還有很多很好的建議。 百多年歷史的電車是香港獨有特色！是旅客最愛體驗及欣賞香港的交通工具！更加是對香港來說很重要的交通工具。因此電車必須繼續運行及保留！絕不能因一個人建議取消電車路段而開此荒謬先例！

中環塞車並不是因為電車，而是大量的違例泊車，請那些私文敗類不要去屈一個死物。
現時做成交通問題的不是電車, 而是政府保守的以汽車為主的交通規劃。事實上，大量汽車在中西區令該區的污染問題嚴重，如果取消電車，只會令原先由電車分擔的人流量大量湧入了其他交通設施，巴士、及地鐵能否負荷是有疑問。此外，地鐵本身已是十分擠迫，說地鐵取代電車根本是痴人說夢。如果真要將電車路段改用途，亦應改為單車徑及行人使用，而將電車移往海旁，這樣的城市規劃既能增加香港對外賣點，而既然薛國強說行路亦可快過電車，則使用單車亦更有效率，亦有助將一部分人口壓力從使用交通工具釋放出來。同時亦能改善空氣污染問題。

我每一天接囡囡坐電車回家已經很多年，坐電車可以看到風景同感受風吹向面的，坐巴士已經不可以了，如果沒有電車真的很可惜,越來越多冷氣車，環境污染更多！
支持繼續保留電車服務! 無論以保護文物價值還是環保或是經濟角度, 電車都是有相當價值! 要不然那麼多的市民不會仍然繼續選擇乘搭電車! 別說什麼人走路比電車快的謬論!!
堅決保留電車，建議增設電車專線，減低私家車進入，改善空氣污染無可能為私家車而放棄大眾交通吧?

敬啓者： 電車係最高消量啲客運量，不一至輕易淘汰啲交通工具，佢陪著住起港島居民一直成長。如果冇左電車港島區交通一樣較為濟塞，又在中上環最大危機助塞交通就你違例停泊啲貨車和私家車，一路影響中上環一帶交通。
