Regeneration is a necessary part of development for the future, But making people who fought for this country homeless in the process is just not fair.

It's unfair for the young or for people not earning enough to be able to have their own place without going on benefits

Like so much recent market-driven 'urban development' this smacks of social cleansing and should be resisted at every level.

Strongly support the construction of affordable homes, including the upgrading of '60s estates. Strongly opposed to the increase of uninhabited luxury buildings.

Residents should be given a full market price for their home and not forced into compulsory buy orders at lower market value. The re-build must provide sufficient social housing to meet the needs of current residents at an affordable price.
